Thank you for your interest in the Mayink Studio Fine Line Tattoo Course.
Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before registering.

By paying the course deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

1. Course Information

Course Name: Fine Line Tattoo Course
Duration: 3 Months
Training Hours: 88 Hours
Schedule: 2 sessions per week
Session Length: 4 hours per session
Participants: 1–3 students per group
Language: English / Vietnamese
Location: Mayink Studio, Höyrykatu 8 lt 3, Helsinki, Finland

2. Course Eligibility

This course is suitable for:

Beginners with no previous tattoo experience.
Individuals interested in starting a professional tattoo career.
Tattoo artists wishing to transition into Fine Line tattooing.
Artists looking to strengthen their technical foundation.

Students must be at least 18 years of age.
No previous tattoo experience is required.

3. Course Fee

Course Fee: €2,500
Deposit: €100
The deposit secures the student’s place in the course and will be deducted from the total course fee.
The remaining balance must be paid before the course begins unless another payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.

4. Equipment

The course fee does not include tattoo equipment or personal tools.
Students are responsible for purchasing their own equipment, including but not limited to:

Tattoo machine
Power supply
Needles
Clip cord or battery
iPad (recommended)
Apple Pencil (recommended)

The Instructor will provide guidance on suitable equipment before practical training begins.

5. Deposit & Payment Policy

A €100 deposit is required to reserve a place in the course.
The deposit is non-refundable.
If the remaining balance is not paid by the agreed payment date, Mayink Studio reserves the right to cancel the student’s reservation.

6. Cancellation Policy

If the Student cancels before the course begins, the deposit will not be refunded.
If the Student withdraws after the course has started, no refund will be issued for any payments already made.
If Mayink Studio cancels the course before the start date, all payments made by the Student, including the deposit, will be refunded in full.

7. Attendance

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions.
If a student is unable to attend, they should notify the Instructor as early as possible.
Missed sessions are generally non-refundable.
Where possible, make-up sessions may be offered at the Instructor’s discretion and subject to availability.
Students who miss a significant portion of the course may not be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion.

8. Health & Safety

Students agree to:

Follow all hygiene and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and professional workspace.
Respect cross-contamination prevention protocols.
Use tattoo equipment responsibly.
Follow all instructions given by the Instructor.

The Instructor reserves the right to stop practical training if safety standards are not being followed.

9. Practice on Real Models

Training begins with drawing, design practice, and tattooing on artificial skin.
Practice on real models is not guaranteed.
Students will only be permitted to tattoo real models when the Instructor determines that they have demonstrated sufficient technical ability, safety awareness, and professional readiness.
The Instructor’s decision regarding readiness is final.

10. Course Outcome

This course is intended to provide students with a strong foundation in Fine Line tattooing.
Completion of this course does not guarantee:

Employment
An apprenticeship position
A tattoo licence
A minimum income
Placement at Mayink Studio or any other tattoo studio

Professional success depends on each student’s commitment, continued practice, and personal development.

11. Intellectual Property

All teaching materials, demonstrations, handouts, templates, exercises, and course content remain the intellectual property of Mayink Studio and the Instructor.
Students may not:

Record lessons without permission.
Copy or reproduce teaching materials.
Sell or distribute course materials.
Teach or commercially reproduce the course content without written permission.

12. Photography & Marketing

Mayink Studio may take photographs or videos during the course for educational or promotional purposes.
Students who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos must inform the Studio before the course begins.

13. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to:

Treat the Instructor and fellow students with respect.
Maintain professional behaviour.
Arrive on time.
Keep the studio clean and organised.
Respect studio property and equipment.
Follow all studio rules throughout the course.

Mayink Studio reserves the right to remove a student from the course without refund in cases of unsafe behaviour, repeated disruption, harassment, discrimination, damage to studio property, or serious breach of these Terms & Conditions.

14. Liability

Tattooing involves the use of professional equipment and carries inherent health and safety risks.
Students acknowledge that any tattooing or tattoo-related activities carried out outside the supervised training environment are entirely their own responsibility.
Mayink Studio and the Instructor shall not be liable for injuries, damages, or claims resulting from tattoo work performed independently by the Student outside the course.

15. Certificate of Completion

Students who successfully complete the course and demonstrate satisfactory participation may receive a Certificate of Completion.
The certificate confirms attendance and successful completion of the training programme only.
It does not constitute an official qualification, professional licence, or guarantee employment.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the €100 deposit, the Student confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
A separate Fine Line Tattoo Training Agreement will be signed before the course begins.
